Mission

MISSION
Our mission inspires us to care for and improve the health of those we serve with a special concern for the sick and the poor. WE are called to be a sign of God's unconditional love for all and believe that all persons by their creation are endowed with dignity. Seton continues the Catholic tradition of service established by our founders: Vincent de Paul, Louise DeMarillac & Elizabeth Ann Seton.

PHILOSOPHY
We serve each person as a Christian would serve Christ himself. As a caring community, we respect the dignity and needs of one another.

VALUES
The Charity of Christ urges:
Respect - A high regard for the worth of each person.
Quality Service - Excellence in duty or work performed for others.
Simplicity - Honesty, integrity and straightforwardness.
Advocacy for the Poor - Supporting the cause of those who lack resources for a reasonable quality of life.
Inventiveness to Infinity - Boundless creativity.

VISION
Seton will become a partnership of providers and the community. We will serve the greater Austin area as the leading integrated health network in Central Texas responsible for the healthcare of 700,000 people.

We will improve the health and well-being of the people we service. We will provide a full continuum of healthcare services. We will be a catalyst for collaborative community action to provide a full range of preventive, social, spiritual, and educational services.

Seton will be the health network of choice. We will provide the highest quality healthcare at the lowest overall cost.
